United Kingdom and Ukraine to hold joint naval training in the Black Sea

Wallace visited Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, on the 18th. In the meantime, he said that this autumn, British Royal Navy ships will go to the Black Sea to hold joint training with the Ukrainian Navy. In addition, Navy personnel from Sweden, Canada and Denmark will also train Ukrainian Navy personnel, including navigation, diving, maritime surveillance, fire fighting and ship maintenance. Wallace said that the joint naval training marks a step forward in the defense relations between Britain and Ukraine, which is a model for expanding cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries in recent years. < p > < p > since February 2015, the United Kingdom has launched the military training assistance program of “orbital operation” for Ukrainian government forces, sending military advisers and instructors to Ukraine to help the Ukrainian government train combat personnel.
