The United States has officially nominated Kamala Harris as its vice presidential candidate
On the evening of 19 local time, the National Assembly officially nominated the California Senator Kamala Harris as the vice presidential candidate. The nomination also created a history – Harris became the first black and Asian American to be nominated as vice presidential candidate in the US presidential election.
