Sony pushes new tools, the first 35 cameras can be used as webcams

Following canon, Fuji, Panasonic, GoPro and Nikon, Sony recently launched the imaging edge webcam tool, which now supports the use of its 35 cameras as webcams. And the new release looks like a stable version, not a beta version. < / P > < p > Sony models that currently support cameras as webcams include the new alpha 7S III, vlogging zv-1 and alpha 99 MKII. The webcam is compatible with windows 10 (64 bit) devices and can be connected via USB. It will need to be set to auto mode, then movie mode, and start the live app. < / P > < p > like other camera manufacturers’ utilities, Sony’s app allows users to take advantage of the company’s high-resolution image quality and top-notch autofocus, as well as the feature set of each compatible camera. But the imaging edge webcam tool doesn’t handle audio, so you need to use your computer’s microphone or connect an external microphone.
