President of Belarus: domestic protests are supported by Western funds

On the 19th, Belarusian president Lukashenko said that the protests in Belarus have received financial support from western countries, but it is impossible to track all the funds brought into Belarus at present, because many of them are cash, but they are concentrating on solving this problem. Lukashenko also said that the United States, France, Germany and other western countries should not interfere in the affairs of Belarus to divert people’s attention from their own problems. On the 9th, Lukashenko won the presidential election of Belarus with a high vote. Since then, public protests broke out in many parts of the country. On the 19th, the European Union announced that it would not recognize the election results of Belarus and would launch sanctions against individuals in the country.
