Poland’s climate minister kurtika was positive for new coronavirus

On August 20 local time, Micha ł Kurtyka, Poland’s climate minister, posted on social media that he had tested positive for his second new coronavirus and was in good health and was in self isolation at home. According to local media reports on Wednesday, Piotr naimski, Secretary of state of the Polish Prime Minister’s office and Commissioner for strategic energy infrastructure of the government, was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus. In mid August, naimski attended a meeting with miners’ representatives, including climate minister kurtika and Vice Prime Minister and state assets minister Jacek Sasin. Kurtika is the second polish cabinet minister to be infected with the new coronavirus. Micha ł wo ś, the environment minister, was diagnosed in March and recovered in April.
