According to the Pew Research Center, 38 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s performance as president and 59 percent don’t. Trump’s job recognition has hardly changed since June (39% of people approve), but it’s down from March (45%) or April (44%).
there are still serious differences between parties on Trump’s performance. Among Republicans and Republicans, 77% now approve of Trump’s performance; only 5% share the same view.
the views of white non Hispanic adults are roughly half right. 47 percent said they approved Trump’s handling of the president’s work, while 50 percent said they didn’t.
68% of Hispanics and 72% of Asian Americans said they did not approve of Trump’s performance, while the vast majority of black adults held the same view (88%).
young Americans are more likely to disapprove of Trump’s performance. Nearly three quarters (73%) of 18 to 29 year olds do not approve of Trump’s handling of the presidency. Adults aged 65 and over were almost as likely to say yes (47%) and not (48%).
as has been the case for a long time, Trump’s job recognition among white adults who have not completed college (55% recognition) is much higher than that of those with a four-year degree (33%).
