Investigation on church hindering epidemic prevention personnel in South Korea’s capital circle

Beijing, August 21 (Xinhua) comprehensive South Korean media reported that recently, the South Korean capital circle Xinguan epidemic spread rapidly, the South Korean epidemic prevention department believed that the “love first” church and the Guanghuamen gathering in Chengbei District of Seoul intensified the epidemic situation in South Korea. On the evening of the 20th local time, the epidemic prevention personnel went to the “love first” church to carry out the flow, but was blocked by the church staff. < p > < p > according to the Ministry of epidemic prevention and control of the central government of South Korea on the 21st, 1304 new crown cases have been confirmed in the community of capital circle within 7 days since August 14, and the number of new cases in a single day remains above 200. Training institutions, restaurants, nurseries and other facilities all over the capital circle have had clustering infection cases, showing a multi-point outbreak. The epidemic prevention department said this week was a watershed in deciding whether there was a pandemic in South Korea’s capital circle, and warned that once the epidemic got out of control, it would follow the European and American footsteps. In order to curb the spread of the epidemic, Seoul issued an enhanced epidemic prevention strategy. From 21 to 30, Seoul banned meetings of more than 10 people, and implemented measures equivalent to maintaining social distance in the third stage. On the other hand, the “love first” church in South Korea recently had a cluster infection. As of 12:00 on the 20th, there were 676 confirmed cases. The church had only submitted a list of more than 900 believers. The epidemic prevention authorities considered the list incomplete and decided to go directly to the scene to obtain the accurate list of believers and the list of participants in the Guanghuamen meeting for epidemiological investigation. However, the church asked the epidemic prevention personnel to produce arrest and search warrant to prevent the flow personnel from entering the church, and the two sides were in a stalemate. According to the law on the prevention of infectious diseases, no search warrant is required for administrative investigation, but the confrontation between the two sides lasted until late at night. On the evening of the 20th, some of the missionaries entered the church, but failed to ensure the list of believers, and left the scene at about 3:30 a.m. on the 21st. At present, the epidemic prevention department is discussing whether to go to the first church of love again on the 21st to carry out an investigation.
