Former trump adviser Bannon pleaded not guilty to charges of fund-raising fraud and was released on bail of $5 million

Stephen Bannon, a former senior adviser to U.S. President trump, pleaded not guilty on Thursday to federal prosecutors’ criminal charges of conspiracy to defraud and launder money in an online fund-raising project to build the U.S. – Mexican border wall. Ban Nong appeared in court in lower Manhattan after being arrested earlier in the day on a yacht in Long Island Bay. U.S. federal prosecutors and Bannon’s lawyers reached an agreement on a $5 million bail, and the judge released the 66 year old former White House chief strategic adviser.
