Facebook’s chief marketing officer leaves after two years in office

Antonio Lucio, chief marketing officer for just two years, is leaving because he wants to devote 100% of his time to the diversity and inclusion of the advertising industry. < / P > < p > on Friday, Antonio Lucio wrote on Facebook: “it’s time to contribute to the country and my industry, and it’s time for me to play a more active role in accelerating change.” Lucio said his last day at Facebook would be September 18. < / P > < p > Lucio was the chief marketing officer of Hewlett Packard (HP) and joined Facebook in August 2018. Prior to that, he was chief marketing officer at visa. During his brief tenure at Facebook, Lucio was responsible for one of the company’s most compelling marketing campaigns – rebranding, including building Facebook’s instagram and WhatsApp into global brands.
