Apple plans to launch the service packs, called “apple one,” as soon as October, along with the next-generation iPhone, in an effort to encourage consumers to order more of Apple’s services, thereby boosting recurrent revenue, according to people familiar with the matter.
people familiar with the matter said that the service includes different levels; since the plan has not been made public, people familiar with the matter asked for anonymity. The basic level includes Apple Music and Apple TV +, and the higher price package includes Apple arcade game service in addition to the above two services. The next level includes apple news +, followed by the addition of additional icloud storage for storing files and photos.
Apple’s plans and packages may change. But the aim is to make the package price lower than the total price of the services ordered separately. An apple spokesman declined to comment.
