Jeffrey gonlak, CEO of dual line capital and known as the “new king of debt,” said on Tuesday that he thought trump would win re-election because the poll results did not reflect the real support rating of the current president.
in a live webcast for his company’s closed-end fund, gonlak said: “will Joe Biden beat trump in November? I don’t think so. I bet not. I think the poll is very, very unstable because of the extremely bad political environment we are in. ”
gonlak said that a lot of things will happen between now and election day, “I think there is still a lot of time, there will be many twists and turns,” he said.
in the 2016 general election, gunlac accurately predicted that trump would win. He has always been pessimistic about Biden’s and other candidates’ chances of winning. In January, he said he didn’t think Biden would win the nomination. In March, he said Biden could not win.
referring to the sharp fall in gold prices on Tuesday, gonlak said that although the gold price has recovered, he expects to continue to rise in the future. Speaking of the U.S. stock market, he said he would not be surprised if the market fell back to its March lows.
